NRLW Draw: Warriors start season at Hamilton home

A round one standalone home game in Hamilton is a key feature of the One New Zealand Warriors’ draw for the 2026 NRLW season.

The just-released draw sees the Warriors kick-starting their season on July 5 against the Bulldogs at FMG Stadium Waikato, the team’s home away from home this year.

In three visits to the venue the Warriors attracted the biggest crowds seen for standalone NRLW games peaking with more than 7000 for their encounter with the ultimate premiership-winning Brisbane Broncos.

On their return to the competition this year the Warriors were handed the daunting task of starting their campaign against the Sydney Roosters on the road.

After starting off season 2026 against the Bulldogs next year, they’re on the road to take on Canberra in round two before the first of their three matches at Go Media Stadium when they face the Cowboys in round three.

Back-to-back away trips follow against the Eels in Sydney and their Magic Round contest against the Titans in Wagga Wagga before they’re back in Hamilton against the Knights in round six.

After another two games in Sydney against the Tigers and Roosters, their last two home games are both at Go Media Stadium against the Dragons on August 30 and the Sharks on September 5 before finishing the regular season against the Broncos in Brisbane.
