Public event parking options
There is limited, controlled public parking adjacent to the venue, however due to the large number of pedestrians in the area on game days we recommend avoiding all roads near the rugby ground.

Function parking
On-site parking is available for private functions, while bus parking is available adjacent to FMG Stadium Waikato on Willoughby Street – please speak to your Functions Manager for more details.
Accessibility car parking

Transport options
FMG Stadium Waikato is an easy 15-20 minute walk from Hamilton’s CBD.
Cycling to the venue is encouraged. Bicycle racks are available at Gate 2 and 4. Patrons must supply their own lock.
Taxi pick-ups and drop-offs are possible outside the FMG Stadium Waikato road closure area.
Flex is Hamilton's on-demand public transport service and a convenient way to travel to and from town on Friday and Saturday nights between 6pm and 4am. Operating throughout the Hamilton city boundary, Flex offers affordable shared rides, with pick-up and drop-off points at 61 Ulster Street (northbound) and 70 Ulster Street (southbound), both within a 10-minute walk of FMG Stadium Waikato. Free public transport - Gallagher Chiefs games
Event-goers can travel free to FMG Stadium Waikato on dedicated shuttle buses. Before the match, buses depart from the Transport Centre approximately every 10 minutes from one hour before kick-off, travelling via Caro, Alexandra, Hood, Knox, Victoria, Liverpool, Anglesea and London streets to Seddon Road. Passengers can board at any official bus stop along the route. See a map of the route here.
A dedicated shuttle operates between Rotokauri Transport Hub and FMG Stadium Waikato on match days. Before the match, services depart from the Rotokauri Transport Hub, located behind the northern end of The Base and accessible via the footbridge beside Lighting Plus, at 5.46pm, 6.15pm, and 6.45pm. After the match, buses depart from Seddon Road from the final whistle until crowds have cleared, with services returning to Rotokauri Transport Hub (The Base) as well as Hamilton's city centre. For more information, visit the BUSIT website.
A smokefree venue
In accordance with the Smokefree Environments Act 2003, smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside FMG Stadium Waikato.
